Welcome to The Biscuits and Gravy Podcast

Season 4
Episode 51 - Eric Wayne Band
Episode 65
- Coastal Muay Thai
Episode 66(SEASON FINALE) featuring: Shmazz
What started as improv jam sessions on a livestream has grown into a few special tracks that aren't the typical sounds you hear from the Appalachian Region. With Jamiel and Willis leading the charge on the writing and compositions they have been "pushing the envelope" on what style of music has been coming from Roanoke, VA. These tracks with hints of Bobby Caldwell and Herbie Hancock being incorporated with ripping guitar and saxophone solos create a wondering coloration of harmonies and style. They mix perfectly with the full and funky basslines by Stimulator and impeccable pocket sitting drums with well articulated drum fills by Chris who doesn't miss a beat. You could say Shmazz is a shmuper group of shminstrumentalist!

"The Heart of Music in Virginia"
Biscuits and Gravy is a weekly podcast centralized around music that features a special guest along with a musical performance each episode. Our guests are usually solo artists or bands, but on occasion we interview entrepreneurs, public figures, and athletes. We are the middle ground between podcasts and late night talk shows. B&G provides a unique opportunity for our guest by inviting them to talk about the details of their journey as artists and creators. From what first got them interested in to where they dream to be one. Our famous question, "What is your dream venue to perform at" always bares a joyful response. Each episode full of laughter and insightful discussion making it one of the best forms of entertainment coming out of Roanoke, VA. Biscuits and Gravy brings a sense of new life into the world of interviewing by mixing the in-depth conversations with live performances and comedic segments.

Biscuits & Gravy sells out The Spot On Kirk for their first ever public show.

On May 23, 2025 The B&G Music Collection hosted Episode 50 of the B&G Podcast in downtown Roanoke, Virginia at a venue called The Spot On Kirk. Over 130 people packed into The Spot to watch our first ever live musical event. Our show consisted of five musical guests, crowd engaging segments, and a merch giveaway. Thanks to all who pulled up.

What is The B&G Music Collection???
Since the Biscuits and Gravy Podcast is so musically driven we decided to create a separate entity that serves as a platform for our very own music to be released. This page will feature our theme songs as well as our Greatest Hits albums from each season of The Biscuits and Gravy Podcast.
